Last Mile Our Last Mile Service extends services of major carriers over the LUS Powered Network to the customer premise. The medium for Last Mile Service is primarily fiber. The available services are T1, DS3, OC3, OC12, OC48, or OC192.
For Metropolitan Area Networks, this service can provide the last segment of fiber along with fiber transceivers for use in conjunction with the LUS Packet Services. The available interfaces are 10BaseFX, 100BaseFX, and 1000BaseFX.
